yes. just keep a stock exhaust on it and usdm ecu. if its like here in arizona they just plug a comp into the ecu on that year civic. u should just but b16b cause that motor only went into the type r unlike b18c which went into an sir-g II and the type r so they put b18c-r to tell if its type r or sir-g....and neways the engine code is just b16b so if any one knows about honda they will know what its from.
