is a Harley Davidson 883 too small for me?

I'm 5'9'' and about 200lbs male. is the Harley sportster 883 (2007-present) too small a bike for me? will it struggle to accelerate? or maintain its speed?
i've also been thinking about a 2008 nightster. still too small?

No it's not. I'd buy a Jap bike though if I were you!

It would be fine. You will outgrow it but not a bad started bike. Once you want a bit more power, you can punch it out to a 1200.

I would look at super glides. better fit

you will like the the sportster 1200 custom better forward control and a lot more power i had one 2007 upgraded to 08 electra glide
i am 6'4" 225 lbs.
hey man its all about the ride, buy what you can afford.
if its the 883 then do it.
get the deal harley has right now buy it back in a year , check it out first
take a ride on it before you sign on the dotted line

It may be a little small but the gearing on an 883 is lower than the 1200 so you can always have it punched out to a 1200. This bike is great for going around corners it has a quicker acceleration than the 1200.

My first bike was a 883 and I'm 6'0 265 but at the time I weighed 220 it was a lot of fun now I ride a road glide but that is after several bikes in between such as the Dyna super glide, heritage softail, heritage springer, an Indian four which i still have and Indian chief, Indian scout.

every one of these bikes has their own redeeming qualities
