Is a domestic/garden cat able bodied enough to take on a cobra ?

would the cats tail flare up and would its ears go right back and its eyes turn pitch black while hissing @ the sight of a cobra ?

what would a cat's natural reaction/response be to it ???

imposter/prey/hunting oppertunity or threat or all of them ?

cats can't be that daft - so im guessing it would weigh up the situation, noticing the expanded hood on the cobras head and interpret that as 'threatening' or 'unwelcoming' behaviour from the reptilian.

a domestic cat with years of climbing, evading accidents and hunting experience - equipped with 'uncut/un-trimmed talons and sharp teeth vs a venomous cobra.

if the cat sinks its teeth into the neck of the cobra repeatedly and jabs its sharp talons into it - surely it has a chance ?

or is the cobra just too deadly a threat for a p@ssy cat ?
if a cobra did harm one of my cats - i'd smash the snakes head open with a rock, that is if my own dumb ass didn't get bitten too heh
