i really like how they look. they look really big and intimidating and i love it. how would they be for a first car? and also, whats the usual gas mileage for a 6 cylinder one? and if anyone has one, what do you like and dislike about them? thanks

It is a pretty big car. Something to consider when you are still learning how to park.

There is surprisingly little difference in gas mileage between both 6 cylinder engines. The 2.7 of course gets the best mpg (18-26) but it is SLLOOOWW. Super slow. And it has a bad reputation for sludging. It's a weird and time consuming design for changing the water pump too. Just not at all a good choice

The 3.5 liter V6 lists about 1 mpg less than the 2.7 (17-25). Losing that 1 mpg is completely worth it though. The 3.5 has adequate performance..

So avoid the 2.7 and you'll be fine.

I think they are a good first car because unlike luxury brands ( BMW, Lexus Etc.) You wont be spending all your money on maintenance.. They are big and have a tough look.. I would get one. I cuurently have a 199 Lexus GS300. black on black. with 20" inch rims..
