Is a concert environment unhealthy for a dog?

Alright. So my band is going on tour and we want to get a puppy to keep us company on the bus. But I know if that happens. Some of us might get curious and want to take the dog on stage. Is the loud environment unhealthy for the dog?

Sorry but I think that is a terrible idea. You will have each other for company. Please don't put an animal through that.

Dogs ears are MUCH more sensitive than humans ears, so taking a dog on stage at a concert is a TERRIBLE idea. It could bust their ear drums or make them deaf. Also they will breath in smoke from the crowd and it will interfere with their breathing. A bus really isn't a healthy place to raise a puppy, however if you want to adopt an older dog that is more relaxed and settled, that would be a better idea, just don't bring it on stage. Also make sure the dog is the right size for the bus you will be taking it on.

With such a hectic lifestyle, are you sure a dog is something you want to invest in? Dogs need exercise and attention. Maybe a cat would be a better bus pet

Your dog may get used to this "life style", It's not good for a dog or even a pup, though.
Yes, in a long run it's not healthy.
