Is a Civil War in the USA inevitable?

No.

The same people who are talking about a new civil war/armed revolt/etc are the same butthurt wannabe-confederates who spent the eight years under Clinton saying the same thing. IIRC there was no armed revolt that took place. I have no reason to believe it'll be any different this time around.

I do, however, believe we'll see an increase in attacks on things like abortion clinics, synagogues, etc. now (which we've already seen). Ignorant, xenophobic, paranoid yahoos thought they were safe under Bush (who saw passage of the Patriot Act, the most "big brother" thing that this country has ever done, and illegal wiretaps, detentions without miranda rights or charges, etc) now think Obama gonna come 'n take their dadburn guns.

...we're in for a fun 3-7 years.

Yeah it's loking more and more like that every day. It's said you people in canada can see what people here don't see. They think it's a joke. It's about as funny as a getting between a momma bear and her cubs.

No that's not gonna happen. Plus the way things are going with gun laws, we wont have the resources to create any form of militia, its headed in the direction that government is going to control everything and the people will be powerless.

Kinda reminds of a book I read a way long time ago, even though i was only in 9th grade lol Animal Farm... kinda fits. As time goes the makers change the laws to see how they feel it fits to their best interest

It looks more like it everyday ! It won't be the north and the south this time around though ! The outcome will be far different as well !
