yes, most people will call you spoiled. You'll have many jealous friends and classmates and those who pretend not to be jealous will most likely just want to ride in your car. They are very pretty cars and i would have liked to have had one when i first started driving (because the do look pretty pimp with the right rims), but certainly would not be able to pay cash for it. I don't think a kid's first car should be a debt. My first car was a Dodge Avenger for like 4k. It was hot (for me, i thought it was the best thing ever), i didn't lose friends, i didn't gain friends for the wrong reason, and it was okay if i got in an accident, since most drivers do their first year. (when i say okay..i mean..the world isnt over and im not out of an overly priced car...but i didnt wreck it. I sold it to a friend and she still has it to this day, im 21 now).
If you do get it, congrats. I wouldn't NOT get it because of a cousin... try to think about who is going to be paying for it (if it's your parents then thats kind of asking for a lot). Either way, the first year is the year you'll most likely wreck, gets dents, fender benders, and your goofy friends will most likely sit or lean on it. please make them get off it! lol
