Is a buffet or cafe the same as a fast food restaurant?

I had to go on a field trip today for school, and it was lunch and I was really hungry. I gave up fast food for lent, and tried resisting any urge to eat it, but I gave in and ate some pizza from the buffet in the cafe our class ate in.

I feel really bad, and I'm not sure if buffets count as fast food.
 
No, a cafe is like a small restaurant and a buffet is a large variety of foods that you can eat all you want and neither of these are fast foods.
 
Nope. Fast food is mainly frozen and deep fried. Buffets are usually made from raw ingredients. Im not sure about a cafe buffet, but I would imagine that they make their food from scratch.
