Is a '91 honda accord with 200,000 miles on it not worth 1,900?

and i'm always being told to look at the miles. that 100,000 is good for a used car. what if its 200,000? it that really bad and something not worth buying?

a good idea when buying a used car is to determine how much the car is going to cost you in repairs.
ask to see the service records. parts that haven't been replaced on the vehicle yet, are surely on their last leg.
also figure in how much the labor is going to cost and what will be your additional expenses if the car is in the shop for a few days including towing.

here are some things that will probably go soon;

fuel pump
transmission
electronic ignition
starter
alternator
master cylinder for brakes
wheel cylinders brakes
water pump
all boots and bushings in the steering linkage and drive train
vacuum lines
...and pretty much everything else
