Is a 2005 Pontiac G6 with a mileage of about 150000 worth the price of 6000?

I was searching deals for g6's and came across this; 2005 pontiac g6, mileage: 150000, price: 6000.... photos claim car looks like new, beautiful interior. I really like this car but im on a college budget for the next 5 years and i wanted to know if this would be a good investment to make. I was also wondering what the maximum mileage for this vehicle is for its lifespan? ... maybe the answer for that question could help answer the question of whether or not it is worth the cost. I cant afford purchasing another vehicle if this one ends up dying on me. PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!

Mileage is too high for any car. I bought a 2005 Chevy Cavalier for my daughter a year ago with 58,000 miles for $6000. Yes it is a smaller car but then she gets 37 MPG highway with it.

A car with 150K miles is not worth more than $2500 no matter how new it is. This one is only worth more if it is 150K Kilometers.

On a car that new, with that many miles, I can almost guarantee you that the regular maintenance was not kept up. When someone is driving 30k miles per year, they dont change the oil every 5k miles, stay on top of scheduled maintenance, etc. They are on the go a lot, and these things fall between the cracks.

I wouldnt necessarily run away from it, but it would not be high on my list of potential cars.

With that many miles on it, I wouldnt go over 3500-4000 tops. One went through the dealer auction in nashville with 155L miles and sold for $3200. $6k is way too much to pay for that car with that mileage

No it is not a good investment. 150k mileage is a lot for a Pontiac. It's not a Honda or a Toyota. Even if you decide to purchase this car, the most I would offer is 2,500$ for it. With 6,000$ you have a lot more options for cars with less miles on it, etc..
