I've been shopping for used cars on Craigslist and I saw a 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo w/134,000 miles on it. (It's bright pink w/grey racing stripes and pink and chrome 22" rims! 
) I don't have all of the details of course, but are they generally reliable? Will the car shortly begin to konk out on me shortly after I buy it or will it go clear past 200,000 or 250,000 miles...?
For example, I live in the L.A. area, I'm a college student, but my parents live near San Francisco and I wanted to drive home one weekend a month....will the Monte Carlo make it? And will I still be able to use it as my daily driver?
