Is a 2002 Toyota Prius reliable? Which would you prefer? A '02 Toyota Prius or

a '01 Camry? Perhaps a Corolla? I plan to get a car, perhaps a used 2002 Toyota Prius costing me under 8 grand. I'm still a bit skeptical about it because I want to know if it's reliable or if the maintenance work would cost a lot. I know it's good fuel economy, but would buying a used Prius be better than a Camry? Maybe a Corolla? Which would you prefer?
