is a 1982 toyota corolla 4 door worth rebuilding?

I have a 1982 toyota corolla, and it is in very good shape. It has not very much rust, i have fixed most of it. The origonal engine still runs in it.

It would less work to drop a small-block V-8 in it. That seems to be the in thing to do with those old toys. Here is an example of nasty little Corolla with an attitude and a GT Mustang 5.0L HO engine and 5-speed transmission in it:
