Yea that is a bit much considering it rms power is at 400 watts. If it is dual 2 ohm, you can run it at 1 ohm or 4 ohm. If it is dual 4 ohm, you can run it at 2 ohm or 8 ohm... So you can much the ohm load up to your amp to get it closest to 400 watts rms as possible...
