Is 750 dollars a lot for a body shop to paint rims on stock Camaro rims?

Hello, I have a 1999 Camaro that still has the stock rims on it. They are in decent condition. I left it at a reputable big body shop for 750 dollars to sand the wheels, prep them, and paint them mach black. It will take two days. Is 750 too much for stock Camaro rims to be painted black?

when I think how many gallons of petrol I could by with that money, then yes.
