Is 48,000 miles too high for a Suzuki GS500? Link provided?

Might get it, mileage is a concern though, how many more miles could it be expected to cover if looked after?

Nobody can say. A well maintained bike can last 100,000 miles, but many of them are trashed by 20,000. Somebody who knows their way around bikes will have to check it out.
 
48 K is not a lot but if it has never been serviced and run on the original oil and filter it could be a pile of wotsit!
i wouldn't buy it without some servicing proof.
