Is 25 pounds heavy for a bike?

I just ordered a bike and I was wondering if 25 pounds is heavy.

if its a bmx bike your talkin about then that is very light i have a 25 pound fit str2 and this is a high end bike

if its bmx then your extremely lucky. 25 pounds is very light, and im guessing you paid at least 400 for it. if its a racing bike or flatland, then it might be a little heavy, but its so easy to get by with. if you ordered a lance armstrong bike, then quit that pussy stuff and go to bmx. or mtb. thats really cool to.

It depends on what type of bike you are asking about. Doesn't matter much since you already ordered it.

Depends what type of bike. 25 pounds is light for freeride/DH, and heavy for road and high end XC.
