I am looking into buying a new car. 2010 Toyota Corolla CE with Enhanced package after GST and administration fee are price at $22039.50. I trade in my Chevy Aveo 2004 at 85000km for $3000.00 and end up with Approx 18800.00 CDN. Is it a good deal? Should I negotiate for the price? How do I do that? What is the fair price for that and How do I ask for lower price. Please help!!
Should I purchase any warrenty with it?

sell the car to someone instead of trading it, you will get a MUCH better deal than if you were trading or selling to a dealership.

don't purchase an extended warranty, its not really needed. corollas are the best selling vehicle in the entire world for a couple of reasons, fuel economy, value, and reliability ( if you maintain it obviously). with the corolla being so reliable, i don't think you'd need an extended warranty.

If I were you I wouldn't buy that car. The new Corolla's aren't that good compared to other cars on the market. For that price you can get a great Civic which will last you just as long and is more fun to drive. If I were you tho. I'd buy the Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. It's awesome. And since it has 7 airbags insurance is cheaper in this car than it is in the Corolla and Civic.

You'll get more money if you sell your car rather than trade. Don't buy an extended warranty on a car, especially a Corolla. It is highly unlikely that you will have significant problems within 5 years or 100k(miles).

The Corolla is boring and overpriced (though it is a reliable car), take a look at a Mazda3 or a Focus instead.
