Is 2 hours of sunlight a day enough for an herb garden?

6 - 8 hours of sunlight is what they really need. You might get some results with 4 hours but don't expect a lot. If you have your plants indoors, you can get some pretty inexpensive lights to help them out.
Check out the information below on indoor plants. Maybe you can work around the lack of sunlight.

No not nearly enough sun, They need at least 6 hours of sun. You will end up with leggy plants that won't amount to anything. You must have sun somewhere. Grow them in pots there instead of making a herb garden
