I was talking to my friend earlier today, and he was being stupid
I don't remember what we were talking about, but he had said "2+2 is 4"
I don't know what is wrong with me, but I had noticed that he didn't say "equals 4"
so I blurted out, "2+2 is not 4, because without an equal sign, it is simply an expression"
I said this without really knowing though,
is 2+2 without an equal symbol just an expression? or is it even against math law to even consider addition of 2 constants without an equal symbol?
