IS 1992 Buick LeSabre a good first car?

My first was a 95, and it was a decent first car. I wouldn't be shy as long as it's in good condition, seeing as that's a pretty old car. Mine died 4 months ago (last semester of college), and I replaced it with a 2000 LeSabre 
. You'll probably get a few jokes about driving a boat (Buick), but it's not a bad choice for a first.
Make sure you don't pay too much for one, use a blue book.
