Is 17 years a big difference in age in a relashionship?

Its ok for Hugh Hefner and the playboy bunnies lol. Its ok for Hollywood types, so it should be ok for everybody. If the 2 people care for each other age shouldnt matter. Dont worry what other people's opinions are, just be happy with your life, you dont need anyone's approval to live your life.

haha funny question. When your like in your late ages like in your 50's then no but if your in your younger years then yes. Can you see yourself like 30 being with a 47 year old or can you see yourself being like 17 being with a 34 year old. lol. yeah think about it. So the older you are the less difference it would be

woa, yeah.

i would say thats a huge difference. i mean at 21 and 38 he is basically twice your age. would you guys really enjoy the same things or have a lot to talk about?

well i guess the important thing is as long as you are both in love i guess it can be okay. cuz after all love is blind.

but still thats a big age difference.

it depends on the age relationship. Like 15 and 32, 16 and 33, 17 and 34, that's just gross. But 30 and 47, 45 and 62, 70 and 87, they know what they're getting theirselves into.

im going crazy for a guy 11 yrs older than me.. friends and some members of my family are totally against it.. they think he only have bad intentions for me but i totally disagree.. when we're out together, we're able to talk about stuff, not really that awkward.. so in my opinion age is not really a difference..

my parents were more than that apart. They were in the 2 decade difference marriage.

In upperclass neighborhoods, that is a normal marriage.. especially the second wives. I'm used to it. That is what I grew up around.

It really depends on which gender is the elder in the relationship. If the elder is a man, i dont think that gap is very big. There are much bigger ones and males have a long history of making gaps bigger than that work. Especially successful males.

If the elder is a woman, that is a HUMONGOUS gap frankly, I dont think that happens much in the world of married women and doesnt really work that well when it does. Very very rare.

After hearing women ranting about demie/ashtin for 5 years... It think its highly tacky when any woman bashes an older husband/ younger wife couple. Really tacky.

At my age, a 17 year gap beneath me is illegal but, when I reach my 30's and 40's I wont be closed to the idea if it happens. My parents were good role models on how to make a big gap work.

The cougar thing is a tv world thing. It is NOt a marriage world thing by any stretch of the imagination. Very few males actually marry a female 4+ year older than us statistically in the real world.
