is 150,000 miles on a 1993 honda del sol good or bad?

i'm thinking of buying it but i want some opinions.
it looks really knew. it looks like and 03 instead of 93
everything seems great about it except for the miles.
how long will it last me? etc

Only worth it if the price is right and you won't be depending on this vehicle to take you on long trips.

This vehicle is nearing the end of its usable life. Don't expect it to be reliable. Don't expect it to last you a long time.

Consider this. Look around next time you are on the road. You don't see very many of these on the road anymore. They sold a lot of these. So what do you think?

It may look nice but remember, looks doesn't make it go.
 
if it looks good...sounds good...and drives good...then its good...and yeah just drop it to 3500 and pick it up....

**my 92 civic hatch has over 350000 miles on the original motor...and it still runs strong....still take it on 800 mile round trips from so. cal to norcal...
 
Mad jack here is wrong they only sold about 75000 del sols from 93-97 they are rare cars is why you don't see them on the roads, not because they are junk trust me I have owned close to 20 of these cars they are awesome you'll enjoy it. they drive line is the exact same as a 92-95 civic depending if its a 1.5 or a 1.6. They really are great and fun cars. buy it if it is nice. just keep the timing belt changed every 85000-90000 miles, and you'll be just fine.
 
Hondas are bulletproof. I would not, however, buy one that old for that kind of money. Three grand tops. Less if you can get it. It's not excessive mileage based on the age of the car, but it is a lot of miles and things do start to go wrong.
 
Honda's are really good cars. I have a 92 and it has about 156,000. it's running great!! only problem i had was just to replace some old parts like the radiator, alternator, timing belt, water pump, just stuff like that.
3,795 isn't bad. Mmm i would try to go 3,500 if you could. be sure to ask when the last time they had the timing belt replaced cuz that can cost you aroung 500-1000. and the clutch if it's standard.
