Is £190 worth for a ps3 40 gb with 3 games, controllers and all the wires?

I have been wanting to buy a ps3 for long now. This guy has advertised for £190. But I have asked him to cut it down to £150 as the new ps3 slim itself costs only £239. Should I still buy the 40gb for the advertised price of £190 or just buy the new ps3 slim? please advise.
