IRS tax return question?

Hi, According to the IRS refund chart I should of had my refund today. However, the "Where's my refund" website and the IRS refund hotline both tell me that my refund is processing and that I should have it by February 1st. Does anyone know what the delay could be? I do owe about $500 from back taxes. Will they take it out of my refund and Direct deposit the rest? Does this delay the process? Any info would be helpful. Thanks
