money. Not so.? Both mother & father-in-law have valid S/S #'s. Together they receive average Social Security wages & my father-in-law has a small pension from his last job so their income was/is above the required $3,000.00 (2007 taxes were filed & they rec'd a refund). As per IRS requirements they ARE entitled to a stimulus check & should have rec'd it by now (last 2 #'s is 27). When I checked online for him as to delay, the reason comes back that he didn't make enough money. This is not true. I gave him phone #'s to reach someone at IRS & after numerous calls & sitting on the recording the last call 1 hour, a message comes back to try another time. He is VERY frustrated. At 83 years old, he can't drive to local taxpayer advocacy office which is 17 miles away & doesn't want me to. He is making my poor mother-in-law crazy with stress! I downloaded form 911 for him to fill out & mail in, but he doesn't want to deal with that either. Hate to throw away couple hundred $$. How can I help?
