My car stereo as ipod plug ins but when I use the provided cables and select ipod on the stereo, the stereo takes control of the ipod. I bought the correct wires. Red + White into the back of the stereo and 1 plug into my ipod. Turned it on but it doesn't detect the ipod evidently, I didn't think of this and I don't know what to do so I can play music through my ipod while selecting the music on my ipod and not browsing through it on the stereo.
