My stereo system and ipod got stolen out of my car a couple nights ago so today i went and got a new stereo system, a jvc kd-pdr40, and although it has an auxilary unit for my ipod, we put a connector cord through my middle compartment and it's supposed to charge my ipod. I went and got a new ipod nano, the newest edition that came out a couple weeks ago. It's 8GB. and anyway, when i plugged it into the connector to my stereo, I could scroll through songs on my stereo but i couldn't control my ipod until i disconnected it because it said "this accessory cannot charge. please disconnect" on my ipod. That may not be exact word for word but it's the basic idea. anyway, any ideas on how to get my ipod able to charge and work with my stereo?
