ipod killers (for n91 fans)

Ipod celebrates 5 years and there have been articles all around and the most interesting i found was by forbes "ipod killers that didn't"

http://www.forbes.com/home/digitalentertainment/2006/10/20/ipod-zune-rio-tech-media-cx_rr_1023killers.html

N91 is not even in the list! the problem is that people in forbes and Nytimes, wsj, pcmag dont even know about the phone making it difficult for n91 to attain a superstar status. someone ask them to listen to n91!

of course n91 owners know that inspite of its various problems with the phone, the n91 music quality is unparalled in the history of gadget making!

ipods suck....everyone and their grandmothers have one....just like the razr....

sigh...only if the public knew how much ipods suck compaired to others in the market

so is my samsung and creative devices.

in fact, the user interface was actually patent by creative first AND the creator that made the original ipod UI also made the samsung UI.

yea sure it looks nice...but it ends there....battery life is getting there...but still sucks, UI is the norm now, and you still have to use software to load songs.

apple created an icon in ipod buy sheer marketing power, i give that to them! Ok, so there is a good sizeable amount of technological genious and intuitive UI on it as well, lets still give that to them as well...

but give it time, if N91 can not kill it, there will be other phones that will do it... ipod is doomed it is just a matter of time before it is dead, and so are most of the MP3 players... well, actually MP3 players might not be totally be doomed, but it will be renegated to the lowest of consumer electronic, just like a walkman where you can buy one for U$2.95...

Wow, you totally contradicted yourself there... And to all you haters, you're just mad you bought and/or used a flop of a product. Face it: Apple WON, You LOST.

well, ya, sort of...

but i bought an ipod, but i still believed it will eventually go down the way walkman is now... unless, they make an ipod phone...

Nokia did not market on N91. Not sure why?
They could have challenged apple to compare the sound quality with any of their iPods. Simple marketing trick they didn't do it when they created the best quality product. They let Apple to continue to eat the marketshare. Some folks might think that 4GB HDD doesn't cut. Hey its not about quantity its about 'quality' first. Nokia is releasing 8GB very soon. 10/20/30GB will follow after.

Where as apple is continue to focus on the quantity from 10->20->30->60->90GB without focusing on the quality.
