iPod in car speakers? (Auxiliary Cable Question)?

I have a JVC in-dash deck and i has an AUX input. I have the aux cable to
play the iPod, but it only comes out of the right speakers. I'm pretty sure it used to come out of both. I can like jiggle it around and twist the cord and eventually it will come out both speakers. What's wrong?
 
Getting a new aux chord should solve the problem. The 3.5mm connectors go bad after a while especially if they're being pulled around a lot by the ipod. Try getting the new chord definitely before you try anything major like checking the wiring or getting new hardware.

seems like you need a new cable. like the wire inside the plastic outside is broken
