Put songs on an ipod when its synced to someone else's computer?

select manually manage and add songs

In order to do that you will need to "show hidden files", they will be called something crazy.

Another option is on your computer set it to manually manage songs. then connect to the other computer and drag and drop files into your ipod through itunes.

1. Set iPod in disk mode
2. Put friends songs on ipod as files
3. Take files off iPod at home and put in your music libary
4. Add to iTunes libary
5. Profit
