I recently ran an application called Disk Inventory X on my Mac and I noticed that there is a large file called "iPhoto Library" in my disk, however my normal photos in my "Photos" folder on my mac are still present. I was wondering why do I have a iPhoto library taking up more space on my disk than all my photos combined. It doesn't even contain all my pictures, because when I delete the photo from my "Photos" folder, it fails to load the file from the thumbnail in iPhoto. I want to know this because I don't want twice as much space being taken up that really, in theory, doesn't need to be taken up. Thanks for anyone that can help.
