It's all crap. I can't use my existing Cingular contract with it. I'd have to re-up for another 2 years with them. Not to mention the shortfalls of the device, no 3G, on screen keyboard blows, no replaceable battery, limited 3rd party application support.

I love Apple, but this just doesn't work...

I'll be sticking with my Treo 750 for now.

it's not as useless as you may think.

Edge is slow, but for your quick lookie lookie on their google maps app, email, and weather and stock widgets, and who knows what other widgets will be released, mind you since the device DOES SUPPORT WIDGETS, edge is fine for those quick accesses to tiny bits of data.

now if youre gunna be browsing the internet you'll most likely be sitting down...probably an airport...cafe...wifi can kick right on in for that..

im not saying edge is great, but for the quick shit like weather stocks and directions it's fine.
