iPhone PC suite doesn't work!! How can I get it to work?

I installed iPhone PC suite on my Vista computer once and since then I wiped and reinstalled vista. However, now, when i install iPhone PC suite, it installs with an error about ftpobject.dll module (which might be the problem). Nevertheless, it installs, but when I want to open iPhone PC suite.exe (or launcher.exe) it gives me the "iPhone PC suite has stopped working" box with the check for solution or close program option. It's really annoying, because its such a useful program!! I have iTunes installed, my iphone is jailbroken and my .NET framework is 3.5 (I think even SP1). Why does it give me that f****** error?!? i've tried it with loads of other version, all give me the same error. Thanks for any help :)
