Ok, here's the story.
My friend asked me if I could update his iPhone 2G and Jailbreak + Unlock for him.
I said ok sure. However, the phone wouldn't connect to iTunes so I did a hard reset on the phone (which was stupid.) and now it can't load up into the phone. It only shows the apple logo along with the spinning load bar frozen. I then proceeded to use recovery mode and tried restoring the iPhone using iTunes, that failed with errors 1604 and 1611 showing the times I tried it. I also repeated the same thing using DFU mode with no success. Now i'm staring at this phone stumped as to how to repair it. Any help? The iPhone again is a 2G running 3.0.3 Firmware.
Also, I have tried the two computer and different usb port method from Apple's support. Still has the problem.
