iPhone Issues with Wi-Fi! please help!?

Basically i go into wi-fi settings, it finds my router, connects to it and shows this with the tick next to it but doesnt show up the icon at the top and then the tick goes and it stays gone! what the hell is up with it, i connect again and it just keeps doin the same thing...
 
wait on the setting screen till the little 3 bars at the top show up. try not to turn off your phone or even turn the screen off at all. if it's still not working you might have a weak wi-fi connection where you are, try connecting at a different place. or even a different room...
