...authentication failure? i apologize in advance if what i’m gonna ask is stupid as hell but i couldn’t figure it out on my own.
i just got an iphone 3g. it’s jailbreaked and unlocked. Works like a charm except for the Wifi part.. When I try to connect to a wireless connection, it recognizes it, but when I go in Safari or any other application that requires internet connection, it pops the message: “Could not activate cellular data network. You are not subscribed to a cellular data service.” I tried resetting my network connections but still no change. Firmware is 3.1.2 and my carrier is Cosmote if that makes any difference..
Should I contact my carrier and request an apn,username and password? Or can any of you help, please?

ok..later edit: tried a few more tricks of resetting and other googled-solutions.. now the message is as follows: “Could not activate cellular data network. PDP authentication failure.” … what changed?)) and what now??
