iPHONE HELP! UNLOCK!!?!?

So, I jailbroke my phone, and so I went to cydia and unlocked it? and so then I put my t-mobile sim card in and it said waiting for activation? or something like that! and the top left it says "SEARCHING" with like a bar thing? Is it supposed to do that? How long will it take? Please answer, I have school tomorrow and i need help! please please please!!

For jailbreaking get some software from the search engines like google,yahoo.Unlock codes are available in the website theunlockspot.com with instructions.
