Last night I put my phone on charge, went to sleep, woke up at about 5am because the flash was on and the phone was boiling hot (I assume this is due to the flash being on for some reason all night) so I took it off charge as it would have been 100% anyway. Anyway, I went to click my phone on later this morning and it would not come on, or respond in any way.
As soon as I plug my phone in to the charger or my laptop, the flash starts to light up again but the phone doesn't respond.
I have: Pressed sleep button + home button together for at least 20 seconds
Checked for any damage, none.
Plugged into my laptop (iTunes doesn't even read that it is plugged in) and pressed home and sleep together.
I can only think that maybe it has overheated but usually when that happens it comes up with a message, and it has had hours to cool down since then so I really am baffled.
Any other suggestions as to what may have happened/how to make it work? I don't know if there is such thing as 'burning out' on iPhones but it was extremely hot when I woke up this morning and unresponsive. The flash is driving me crazy as well! Any suggestions would be so appreciated x
