Iphone 4 vs. Droid 2 Global

So I'm going to go contract and it's between these two phones and service providers.

Which way would you go?

I love the idea of the physical keyboard, but I have used older Iphones and liked them a lot.

Verizon seems to have the better network and plans.

Can't decide, please some help, I need to decide by Saturday when the sale at Radio Shack ends on the Iphone.

Would love to hear from anyone who has owned or extensively used both of these phones, or at least the Iphone 4 and the regular Droid 2.

Which service provider has the best coverage where you will be using the device? Go with that one. If Verizon is better, then that is your choice.
 
I think people here are getting tired of repeating the same platform vs. platform arguments, and would rather give opinions if you are choosing between two different phones of the same platform, like say between two Android phones.

Having said that, pick your preferred carrier first, as that is the most important of all.
 
Agreed. Check the carrier with best coverage first the compare phones. For example, I love some of the tmobile handsets available but their 3G is pretty much nonexistent to places I frequent. So they were stricken from my list
