iphone 4 on vodafone need unlocked?

i bought the phone online brand new but im movin to o2 so need it unlocked as my wife has a unlocked iphone 4 ios 4.1

Iphone wont work on Vodaphone even unlocked. Vodaphones network is incompatible with iphone. vodaphone is wcdma and iphone is gsm only for now. though there is a verizon version coming out later this year that will work it may not even need to be unlocked.

Rather than asking question you can check it with vodafone service centers they will be having some solutions and tie up with iphone.
