iPhone 4 case help and pointers?

Ill be getting the iPhone 4 in february from verizon and I'll need a case for it. I was thinking the bumper because it's very low profile but very protective, so they say. So is it? If u have a bumper please answer is it worth my money? I'm very careful with my iPod so I know I'll be very careful with the iPhone. Also if u have recommendations for better cases that would be great. I'm looking for something that is not bulky but is drop protective and has a good grip. Thanx
