I've switched to iPhone 4 two weeks ago. The battery life was phenomenal. It lasted 8-12 a.m basically the whole two weeks I've had it. I didn't have to worry about charging it as often as the Android and I was just so impressed with it. However going over to the mall to pay my phone bill. I stopped in the Apple store for my mom. She was having a problem with her IPad. I asked about the new Software update. I was skeptical at first because I have heard a few bad reviews on it. The girl (Apple employee) insisted on me updating and even took my phone away to connect it to wifi.
Here's where the problem starts. When I got home the battery already drained quite a bit. I was confused. Researched about the problem and regretted the update. So Friday morning I drove 30 mins back to the APPLE store. To either get the update removed or replace it with a. Brand new phone.
15 mins of waiting to be helped.
10 mins of waiting for my phone to be 'restored'
He convinced me that the problem was fixed.
Coming home my phone battery drained to 20%
Charging it and checking on the battery after about an hour or two hours of charging. It was at 97%. Waiting a bit longer it was soon fully charged. The settings that can potentially drain the battery were turned off. All of my information was deleted by the 'restore' the guy did. But it was only a minute till my battery started draining. I had no apps on the phone. Kept closing things that I've opened.
But it kept draining for about 5 minutes of usage.
Do I have a case where I could get my phone replaced?
If I wouldn't of gone to apple in the first place this would've never of happened.
Should I speak to the manager next time about this whole problem, I've had with the store?
Help me I'm at ropes end. I feel like I could scream.
