iPhone 3gs want to upgrade 3.1.3 safe

Hi, I have 2 iphone 3gs 3.1.2 running ok, one goes recovery mode if I turn on and other working fine. I was trying to upgrade to 3.1.3 but getting 3194 error. I allready save the shshs safely with tinyumbrella and when I go to cydia i can see the msg: This device has SHSHs on file for iPhone OS: 4.0. Now can i upgrade to os 4.0 and able to unlock or safe downgarde to 3.1.3. Please need step by step instruction.

If you can Upgrade to 3.1.3 then its safe !! But only and only if you have 3.1.3 SHSH on CYDIA ! Else NO WAY !!

If you upgrade to 4.0 !! To are stuck cant JAILBREAK for the moment !! But UNLOCK yes !! BUT u need to jailbreak to install the UNLOCK mechanism !!

SO a nice REQUEST stay on your 3.1.2 UNTIL you heard that SPIRIT has release the JAILBREAK !!

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I am trying to upgrade to 3.1.3 but can't getting 3194 error. How to solve this. And yes i have SHSHs saved on cydia. Well need to this cause if I tunr this et off goes recovery mode every time and want to get out of there.
 
Well guy, I have done one 3gs with custom 3.1.3 firmware which was working normaly, but can't upgrade the one which goes to recovery mode after turn off. Getting the error code 1604. Please help.
 
you cant upgrade to 3.1.3. Since you have SHSH save on 4.0 ! So no 3.1.3 SHSH ! SO now WAY. One thing if it come to recovery mode because you used SPIRIT to jailbreak the 3.1.2 (with Blackra1n was used for jailbreak) then NOw way need only to PUT to 4.0 and wait for Jailbreak !!

If get to RECOVERY MODE by downgrade used ireb and choose FIX RECOVERY LOOP !!

That ALL !!
 
Hi, Thanks for the reply. yes i have another 3gs which SHSHs saved on 3.1.3. This is the set going to recovery mode when I turn off. Now can i upgrade that one, if I may, what is the safe please help.
