iPhone 3Gs, no signal (read description for more information please...)?

Ive had my iPhone for about 2 months now, and today i was texting somone when i dropped my phone, blah blah blah, 2 hours later it says Searchin at the top left of the phone (wheres it ment to say Orange) and as im writing this it says searchin, ive turned the phone off, taken the sim card out, please help? any help is appreciated thankss
