I was trying to jailbreak my iphone 3g to the 4.2 IOS I followed the directions and downloaded the latesst version of red snow & downloaded the 4.2 firmware..I placed the iphone in DFU mode and it started jailbreaking it..but now it is only giving me the apple boot screen & the jailbreak screen (the black screen with the white words) my laptop is not recognizing the iphone, what do I do know?
