My gf has an Iphone 3G which has recently stopped responding(no text messages apps etc), the touch screen works but the phone is a bit faulty. Since she restored it in an attempt to fix the problem she hasn't been able to unlock her phone and enter her pasword. Is there anyway the phone can be fixed without having to take it to the Apple Store? She's already tried restoring it and all the steps on the Apple website.
