iphone 3g ac power adaptor on sanyo mobile booster (model: KBC-L3S-SP)?

I have a sanyo mobile booster, listed input is DC5V 500mA MAX.
I have a AC to usb power adaptor supplied with the iphone 3G, listed output is DC 5V 1A.

Can I use the adaptor on it?
