iPhone 3.0 update wont let my iPhone 3g send photos via messanging. Is the update buggy?

I know my iPhone is a 3g, I checked the box. The apple website said it works for the 3g and 3g OS only. Help please?

Are you living in the US?

If so, you cannot do it yet. AT&T does not support MMS yet, although they are suspected to later in the summer.

The iPhone update (3.0) for US doesn't even have MMS unlocked yet, so therefore, even if you switched carriers, you cannot use MMS.

picture messaging isnt working yet the software for it will be out late summer. yes i know the 3.0 is out now but the mms is not yet ready.
