Details..my friend moved in with his gf 15 months ago. He wasnt on her lease. She left a few wks ago. He started making arrangements to move and she said she planned to come back. Well she informed him tonight that shes not coming back she didnt pay her portion of rent and the landlord told her all the belongings would be put in the lawn TOMORROW. She said she was given a 3 day notice saturday. Is this how the eviction process works? 3 days you dont pay and they put your stuff on the street? My friend isnt on lease but has estab residency and was unaware of any 3 day notice. He found a place for thursday. The state is iowa.
Iowa eviction legality? No notice?
